Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up America and the concerns regarding the influence of money in politics. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 21:1 that "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You have the power to guide the hearts of leaders and those in positions of influence.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the leaders of this nation. We ask that You move their hearts to seek justice, fairness, and righteousness. We pray that the influence of money would not corrupt the integrity of the political process. As it is written in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil." We ask that You would protect our leaders from the temptations and corruptions that come with the love of money.
Father, we also pray for the citizens of this nation. Give the people a spirit of discernment and the courage to stand up for what is right. Help us all to be vigilant and proactive in ensuring that our leaders are held accountable.
We trust in Your sovereignty and know that You are in control. We place America in Your hands, asking for Your guidance, protection, and blessing. May Your will be done in this nation as it is in heaven.
