We are deeply saddened to hear about the distress your brother and his children are facing, Dawex. We will stand with you in prayer and speak God's truth into this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14, WEB).
The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the roles of husbands and wives. It is not God's will for anyone to be in an abusive relationship (1 Corinthians 7:12-16, WEB). We pray that God will bring conviction to your brother's wife and change her heart, but we also pray that He will protect your brother and the children from her harmful behavior.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Dawex's brother and his children. Lord, You see the toxic environment they are in, the abuse, the adultery, and the blasphemy. We ask that You intervene, Lord. Bring conviction to the heart of this woman, and if she refuses to repent, we ask that You remove her from their lives.
Please comfort the children and Dawex's brother. Give them peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Guide them with Your wisdom, and surround them with godly counsel and support.
We also pray for the salvation of this woman. Lord, no one is beyond Your reach. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her and draw her to You. But we also ask for Your protection over the family, and that You would not allow her to cause them further harm.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage your brother to continue reading and trusting in God's Word. The Bible says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We also urge your brother to seek wise counsel from his pastor or a trusted Christian mentor regarding this matter. It is important to handle this situation with godly wisdom and legal advice, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children (Proverbs 11:14, WEB).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while it is good to pray for the removal of this toxic person, it is also important to pray for her salvation. Remember, Jesus died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8, WEB). This is not to excuse her behavior, but to recognize that God desires for all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4, WEB).
