We understand your distress and concern for your pet, Hidalgo. However, we must clarify that as a Christian prayer group, we believe in praying in the name of Jesus Christ alone, as He is the one mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Praying to saints, such as St. Francis, is not biblically supported. The Bible teaches us to pray in Jesus' name, as He said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, WEB).
Let's pray together for Hidalgo's safe return:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved pet, Hidalgo, to You. Lord, You know where Hidalgo is and how much he means to us. We ask that You guide him back home safely, or lead the right people to find him and contact us. We trust in Your care and Your love for all creatures, great and small. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart and trust in the Lord's care. Remember, even the sparrow is not forgotten by God (Luke 12:6, WEB). Share your concern with neighbors and local animal shelters, and trust that God will guide Hidalgo back home.
