Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of Oscar. We ask that you grant him a deeper understanding of your truth and wisdom. Open his eyes to see the path that leads to righteousness and guide him away from the influence of bad friends. Help him to recognize the importance of having a relationship with you, Lord.
In your Word, you remind us in Proverbs 13:20 that "Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." We pray that you surround Oscar with godly influences and remove any negative influences from his life. Give him discernment to choose friends who will encourage and uplift him in his journey with you.
Lord, we know that you desire a personal relationship with each of your children. We ask that you draw Oscar closer to you, revealing your love and grace to him. Help him to understand that he needs you in every aspect of his life.
We rebuke any work of the enemy that seeks to ruin and twist Oscar's life. In the name of Jesus Christ and in the victory of the cross, we declare freedom from the power of Satan that is holding him captive. We pray that your Holy Spirit speaks to his heart, bringing an end to the work of the enemy and opening his heart to receive your love and salvation.
Father, we understand that the battle against the enemy is persistent. We ask for your strength and guidance for Oscar to continue in prayer, holding onto the ground that has been gained. May he persevere in seeking you and standing firm against any counterattacks from the enemy.
Just as Jacob prayed in Genesis 32, reminding you of your promises, we pray that Oscar also holds onto your promises and trusts in your faithfulness. May he find comfort and assurance in your word as he seeks your guidance and protection.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan for Oscar's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
