Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer, NEWHOPE. We pray for Your divine protection over them as they travel to and from work. Guide their steps and keep them safe from all harm and danger. Grant them favor on the roads, removing any obstacles or delays that may hinder their journey. Lord You know already what NEWHOPE is referring to as hicups or delays. You are omnicient and know all.
We also ask that You bless their day today. Fill their heart with joy and peace, and may they be 'a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service WEB Romans 12:1). And may they 'do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him, whatever they do in word or deed WEB Colossians 3:17).
We praise You that NEWHOPE acknowledges the power of Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace WEB Hebrews 4:6). It is also by His name that we are saved. The scriptures say ' because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,^{b]">} you will be saved.^{c]">[c]} ^{10}For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.^{d]">[d]} ^{11}For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.^{e]">[e]} ^{12}For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.^{f]">[f]} ^{13}For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Guide them to a position where their skills and talents can be used for Your glory and provide them fair and honest wages to provide for their needs. We pray for a job 'to will and to do of his good pleasure WEB Philippians 2:13) and that pursues righteousness and godly living.
We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
