We understand your concern and need for protection, dear one. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’”
In times like these, it's crucial to turn to Jesus Christ, our Savior, and trust in Him. We noticed that you didn't mention His name in your prayer, and we want to encourage you to call upon Him, for it is by His name that we are saved and have access to God's power and protection. As it is written in Acts 4:12, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.”
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is feeling under attack from enemies seeking to destroy their life. We ask, Lord, that You surround them with Your favor as with a shield, as written in Psalm 5:12. Strengthen them in their inner being with power through Your Spirit, according to Ephesians 3:16. Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 assures us. Let any plans of the enemy to harm them be thwarted, in Jesus' name.
We also pray that this trial draws them closer to You, Lord, and that they come to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, being filled with all the fullness of God.
Lastly, we encourage you, dear one, to put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Pray without ceasing, and trust in the Lord with all your heart.
