We understand that you are feeling anxious and perhaps even forgotten by God as you face a job interview tomorrow. First, we want to assure you that God never forgets His children. In Isaiah 49:15-16 WEB, God says, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to come before God in Jesus' name, trusting in His sacrifice for you.
Before we pray, we will recommend that you consider if this job is something that you need over something that is a want. It is very important to pray for daily bread or what is needed, asking God to provide, but not to pray for luxuries, which is asking to have them. However, if this job is something that is needed to provide daily bread for yourself or your family, then you should pray for it in Jesus' name. Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again for our justification. Thank You that You have not forgotten this child. We ask for the needs in this life, not the wants. Provide the needs, as you see fit in your will, and be merciful to endure through any disappointment, if the request is not Your will. Even so, provide the right job that pays the bills, maintains daily bread, and provides a means to live, if it is Your will. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen."
Remember, God's will is always what is best for us, and He is faithful to provide for our needs. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, do not be anxious for tomorrow, but seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
We encourage you to take this time to draw near to God, to seek Him with all your heart, and to trust in His unfailing love for you. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
If you have not already, consider studying the Bible daily to know God better. The Bible is the Word of God and the bread of life. We encourage you to meditate on His Word, to pray continually, and to give thanks in all circumstances.
