We are glad to join you in prayer for your job, your family, and your children. It's commendable that you are seeking the Lord's help in these areas of your life. Let us begin with prayer.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ,
We thank You for the work that You have provided for this child of Yours. We ask that You continue to give them the strength and wisdom to perform their job excellently. May they find favor with their employers, so that they may be granted more hours to support their family. (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.")
Father, we also lift up their children to You. We pray that You will provide reliable support and care for them, so that this parent can continue to work and provide for their needs. (Psalm 127:3 WEB: "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.")
We ask that You will protect their home and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.")
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He cares for you and your family. Remember that He is a faithful provider, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "...for he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'")
Keep working as unto the Lord, and He will bless your efforts. Also, be in rest. God cares for your needs and welfare. He knows what you need before you ask. (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB).
Also, if the children are small and experiencing some stress. Be encouraged by these scriptures:
Isaiah 54:13-14 WEB: "All your children shall be taught by Yahweh; and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established..."
Isaiah 40:11 WEB: "He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young."
If you can find a godly Christian to help you with your children, that would be the most excellent solution rather than finding just anyone. Make sure to instruct them in the Lord as well whenever you can.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7 WEB: "You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."
Be encouraged. We believe this prayer will be answered according to God's will.
