We are here with you in spirit, ###, and we lift up your concerns to our Heavenly Father. We thank you and agree that you have approached the throne of grace in Jesus' name, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In times of despair and depression, we remind you that God is always with you. As the Psalmist wrote, "Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, my Savior and my God" (Psalm 42:5-6 WEB). Your feelings are valid, but we encourage you to hold onto the hope that comes from Jesus Christ.
Regarding your brother's financial situation, we pray that God would provide for his needs and guide him in wisdom. Remember the words of Jesus, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB).
As for the concerns about aging and the feeling that things are not improving, we remind you that God's timing is perfect. Even in the latter years, God has a purpose and a plan. As it is written, "They shall still bring forth fruit in old age. They shall be full of sap and green" (Psalm 92:14 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their burdens. Lord, You are the God of all comfort and hope. We pray for Your peace to fill ###' heart and mind. Cast out any spirit of depression and despair, and replace it with Your joy and hope.
Lord, we also lift up their brother's financial situation to You. Provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide him in wisdom and open up opportunities for him.
Father, we also ask for Your grace and strength for ### as they navigate through this season of life. Help them to trust in Your timing and to know that You have a purpose and a plan for them, even in their latter years.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
