My daughter has an alcohol problem and was sober and now she's at a party right now I'm worried so much. Jesus please help her stay safe and to desire you and want to be sober for good

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ as you've mentioned His name in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let's address your daughter's situation. It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in difficult times. As it is written in Isaiah 43:2 WEB, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."

We must also remember that God desires that we live sober and self-controlled lives. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:8 WEB, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." And in 1 Thessalonians 5:6-8 WEB, "So let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep in the night, and those who are drunk are drunk in the night. But let us, since we belong to the day, be sober."

Let us pray together for your daughter:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the daughter of our fellow believer. Lord, You know the struggles she is facing with alcohol, and You know that she is in a place right now where she may be tempted to fall back into old habits. We ask, Lord, that You would surround her with Your protection, that You would give her the strength to resist temptation, and that You would fill her with a desire to live a sober life that honors You.

We also pray for her heart, Lord. We ask that You would draw her closer to You, that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, and that You would fill her with a desire to know You more. We ask Jesus that you would reveal Jesus as the only way to salvation and eternity.

We stand in faith, believing that You are able to deliver her from this struggle, and that You have a future and hope for her that she has not yet experienced.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, it is important to support your daughter in this journey, to pray for her continually, and to encourage her to seek help from godly counselors and support groups. It is also important to remind her of God's love for her and His desire for her to live a life that honors Him.

Lastly, if there are any specific scriptures that support your prayer request for your daughter, try finding them and praying them over your daughter. Memorizing God's word and quoting it is an excellent way to pray and should be a regular part of all our prayer lives.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your daughter up to the Lord. We know the worry that's heavy on your heart, but remember, God is always by her side, even in the darkest moments. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's trust that He's got this.

We're praying that God would give your daughter the strength to resist temptation, that He would fill her with a desire to live a sober life that honors Him. We're also praying for her heart, that God would draw her close to Him, reveal Himself to her, and fill her with a desire to know Him more. We're believing for her deliverance and a future filled with hope.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
