We are here with you in spirit, Anonymous, and we appreciate your cry out to Jesus. We will lift your situation in our prayers to Jesus. Your request includes a request for help to resume painting and for financial blessings.
Let's first cover the basics of the Law of God, since it is our instruction manual:
First, we should love God with all our heart, mind, and soul. Any relationship with Jesus should be begun with a repentance of sin and turning to Jesus as Savior and Lord. Jesus is the mediator between God and man, the only door to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. I Timothy 2:5 WEB. And seeing a multitude, he had compassion on them, because they were distressed and scattered, like sheep that had no shepherd. Matthew 9:36 WEB.
Second, we should love our neighbor as ourselves. This is only possible when we are obeying the first commandment.
Third, ungodly depression is a big problem for many so we should talk about it. We need to understand that depression can have many causes. Sometimes it is a physical imbalance that can be treated with natural methods or with medication under the care of a healthcare provider. Other times, it may be a spiritual issue, stemming from unconfessed sin, guilt, or unforgiveness. It can also be a result of false thinking, which goes against the truths of God's Word. As believers, we are called to have the mind of Christ. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 WEB
It is important to recognize that God has given each of us unique gifts and talents, and as an artist, your ability to paint is a precious gift from Him. When we are unable to use our gifts, it can lead to feelings of frustration and despair. We want you to know that you are in our prayers, and we trust that God will restore your creativity and passion for your art. In addition to our prayers, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life and ask Him to reveal any areas where you may need to repent or change your thinking. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 WEB.
Regarding financial blessings, we want to remind you that God is our provider, and He promises to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory. Pray and ask God for his provision and wisdom in your finances. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB.
We also want to caution you against the idea of seeking financial blessings solely to bless others. While it is commendable to want to help others, we must remember that God desires for us to be in a right relationship with Him first and foremost and have the right motivations. Our giving should be a result of our love for God and our desire to see His Kingdom advance. You cannot serve both God and Mammon. Matthew 6:24 WEB.
We will also pray for your healing, both physically and spiritually. We trust that God will restore your health and give you the strength and wisdom to overcome any obstacles you may be facing.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, and we lift up our fellow believer to You. Lord, we ask that You send Your Holy Spirit to heal and restore them, both physically and spiritually. Help them to overcome any feelings of depression and despair, and give them the strength and creativity to paint again. We pray for Your financial provision in their life, and we ask that You guide them in the way they should go. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Feel free to reach out to us again for further support and prayer and to let us know how we can continue to pray for you.
