We join with you in praying for your class, dear teacher. It's wonderful to see your heart for your students and their future.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let's pray for your students who are not turning in their work. We ask God to stir their hearts and minds, giving them a desire to learn and a sense of responsibility. May He grant you wisdom and patience as you guide them. Remember, as it says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
We also pray for their growth in reading and math. May God grant them understanding and a love for learning. As written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We declare this over your students, that through Christ, they will excel in their studies.
We agree with you in praying for a strong foundation for their future success. May they grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did in Luke 2:52.
We also stand with you in praying against discrimination and disrespect among parents, students, and coworkers. May God foster an environment of love and respect, as encouraged in 1 Peter 2:17, "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king."
Let's pray:
Father, we bring this class before You, in Jesus' name. We ask for a spirit of responsibility and a desire to learn for the students. We pray for growth in their reading and math skills, and a strong foundation for their future. We also ask for an atmosphere of respect and non-discrimination among all involved. May Your love and peace reign in their hearts and minds. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
