We understand your pain and heartache, Bavokin, and we stand with you in prayer. We are commanded to forgive in Ephesians 4:32
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Vengeance is indeed the Lord's, as it is written in Romans 12:19-21:
Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord." Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Bavokin and her daughter. We pray for their healing and comfort, as they have been betrayed and wronged. Lord, we ask You to mend their broken hearts and give them a new spirit, filled with hope and trust in You. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, as You have forgiven us.
We claim Your promise that vengeance is Yours and You will repay. We ask for Your justice to be served, and for Your will to be done in this situation. We also pray for their new home, that it would be a place of blessing, safety, and new beginnings.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. Amen.
Bavokin, remember that God is faithful and just. He will heal your broken heart and provide for you and your daughter. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Keep praying and believing, for God is working things out for your good and His glory.
