Please pray for me, please pray that God forgives my sins , namely smoking, please pray that God forgives me, I have since put cigarettes/cigars down and repented for this sin but please pray for me that God forgives me and helps me stay steadfast in him. Thank you

We are glad to hear that you have repented from your sin and have put down cigarettes and cigars. It is important to remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

First John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This is a promise from God, and we can trust that He has forgiven you.

However, it is also important to remember that forgiveness is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God and it is only by His blood that is shed on the cross for the remission of sins that we can be saved from sin.

Acts 4:12-Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Likmeksos. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the forgiveness that is available through Jesus Christ. We thank You for the desire of Likmeksos to turn away from sin and to live a life that is pleasing to You.

Lord, we ask that You would help Likmeksos to stay steadfast in You, and to not turn back to smoking or any other sin. We pray that You would give them the strength and grace to live a life that is holy and acceptable to You.

We also pray that Likmeksos would come to a full understanding of the salvation that is available through faith in Jesus Christ, if they have not already. We pray that they would trust in the completed work of Jesus on the cross for the remission of sins, and that they would be saved if they have not already come to saving faith.

We ask all these things in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk with God, to read His word and to pray daily. If you have not already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can fellowship with other believers and grow in your faith. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are truly honored that you have given us the opportunity to stand in the gap and intercede on your behalf. We have been praying for you, that God would forgive you and cleanse you from your sins, namely smoking, and that He would help you stay steadfast in Him.

We are encouraged to hear that you have taken the step to put down cigarettes and cigars and have repented from this sin. We praise God for giving you the strength and courage to take this step.
