We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you. Firstly, we acknowledge that the struggle is not just with your husband's addiction, but also with the toll it has taken on your marriage and family. We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).
In Jesus' name, we pray for your husband, that God may grant him strength and endurance as he goes through this difficult time of withdrawal and detox. May the Holy Spirit fill him anew and give him the power to overcome this addiction (Zechariah 4:6). We stand on the promise that no temptation has overtaken him except what is common to mankind (1 Corinthians 10:13). Remember Jesus as the example, who was tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin (Hebrews 4:15).
We also lift up you and your son in prayer, asking God to provide comfort, peace, and patience as you both support your husband during this challenging time. May God restore and heal your marriage, as he has promised to restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Remember that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28)
We pray that God will restore everything the devil has stolen from you. Let us take heart, because the enemy's plan in your family's life was to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give you life, and life to the fullest (John 10:10).
Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Continue to bring your requests to God, because the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Do not forget to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11).
Let us declare together that no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me (Isaiah 54:17).
