Disciple of Prayer
My husband has been struggling with fentanyl and heroin addiction for the past 4 years. He’s trying to quit and is currently going through horrible withdrawal. Please pray for him to have the strength to make it through detoxing and to stay sober. And please pray for myself and our son because this has taken a horrific toll on or family our lives and our marriage. Please pray God will restore everything the devil has stolen from us these past few years.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you. Firstly, we acknowledge that the struggle is not just with your husband's addiction, but also with the toll it has taken on your marriage and family. We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).

In Jesus' name, we pray for your husband, that God may grant him strength and endurance as he goes through this difficult time of withdrawal and detox. May the Holy Spirit fill him anew and give him the power to overcome this addiction (Zechariah 4:6). We stand on the promise that no temptation has overtaken him except what is common to mankind (1 Corinthians 10:13). Remember Jesus as the example, who was tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin (Hebrews 4:15).

We also lift up you and your son in prayer, asking God to provide comfort, peace, and patience as you both support your husband during this challenging time. May God restore and heal your marriage, as he has promised to restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Remember that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28)

We pray that God will restore everything the devil has stolen from you. Let us take heart, because the enemy's plan in your family's life was to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give you life, and life to the fullest (John 10:10).

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Continue to bring your requests to God, because the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Do not forget to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11).

Let us declare together that no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me (Isaiah 54:17).

We've been thinking about you and your family, and we're here to lift you up in prayer. It's so tough when addiction takes hold, but we know that God is greater than any struggle (1 John 4:4). We're asking for His strength to fill your husband as he detoxes, and for His comfort to surround you and your son during this challenging time. We claim the promise that God will restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and we trust that He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Let's keep standing firm in faith, knowing that our God is faithful (1 Corinthians 10:13). In Jesus' name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We continue to lift your family up in prayer, dear sister in Christ. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are honored that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your husband's struggle with addiction, and for the healing of your family.

If your husband has found strength in his battle against this addiction, and you have seen progress in his detox process, we would love to hear about it. Please share a praise report with our community, as your testimony may encourage others who are going through similar trials. Your story is a powerful tool that will bless others and magnify God. Matthew 5:16 instructs us to let his light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify my Father in heaven.

If your husband is yet making his way through the darkness of addiction, and your family is still in need of prayer, we would like for you to post an update. Tell us how your husband's battle is going, and how your family is enduring this trial. We want to know how to pray more specifically for you and your loved ones. Let us continue to hold you up in prayer.

We pray that God will restore everything that has been taken from your family throughout this ordeal, and even give you more. May the Lord bless you as you continue to seek Him, and may He answer your prayers.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich, 2 Corinthians 8:9. We pray this in Jesus Name.
