Thank you, Christopher, for reaching out and sharing your heart with us. We are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledge your failures and desire forgiveness. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). God is always ready to forgive those who come to Him with a repentant heart. It is important to understand that it we confess sins to Jesus and God forgives through Jesus. Remember, "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 WEB) but also "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 WEB).
Regarding your desire for a stable and loving life, we pray that you will find your fulfillment in Christ. The Bible says "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone (sin) out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (turning away from sin)" (Ezekiel 36:26 WEB).
You also mentioned your friends and family coming to Jesus. This is a wonderful desire, and it's important to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. As Scripture tells us in John 14:6 IJN, Jesus Himself said: "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". Again in Acts 4:12 IJN says: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved". So, please pray again to Jesus and your family and friends must believe in Jesus.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we lift up Christopher to You, asking for Your forgiveness and cleansing for his failures. Thank You for Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us.
We pray for Christopher's friends and family, that they may come to know You as their personal Savior. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and reveal Your love and salvation to them. Christoper should pray for anyone he knows and also share his faith with that person so they can also come to know Jesus and have salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a good Christmas for Christopher, his friends, and his family. We ask that this season from now on be filled with Your love, peace, and joy. Amen.
