We understand that you are seeking healing from cataracts, Lizzie. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing.
Firstly, praise God for believing in the name of Jesus and acknowledging this in your prayer. Let us come together in agreement as we have this promise from Jesus:
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them
Before we pray, let us receive this encouragement:
But Jesus looked at them, and said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:25, WEB)
God's Word assures us that nothing is impossible with Him. As we unite in prayer for your healing, let's take comfort in God's promise from Peter's dialogue:
Then Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!" (Acts 3:6, WEB)
Here is also a review of scriptures of Jesus Christ healing the blind:
As he went out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great number of people, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, "Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!" Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, "You son of David, have mercy on me!"
Jesus stood still, and said, "Call him."
They called the blind man, saying to him, "Cheer up! Get up. He calls you."
So, he, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?"
The blind man said to him, "Rabboni, that I may see again"
Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your faith has made you whole." Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. (Mark 10:46-52, WEB)
This confirms that Jesus Christ can heal the blind and will do so to his disciples.
Now, let us join in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking healing for Lizzy's cataracts. Lord, You are the great Physician, the One who makes the blind see and the lame walk. We believe that with You, all things are possible.
We ask that You touch Lizzy's eyes and restore her sight, just as You did for the blind man in Mark 10:46-50. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command the cataracts to dissolve in Jesus' name. We pray that You will strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace and joy as she trusts in You.
Lord, we also pray for Lizzy's spiritual eyes to be opened to see You more clearly. Help her to know You deeply and to walk in Your ways. We ask that You will uplift her, protect her from any harm from surgeries and negative side effects, guide her in treatment decisions whether medical or alternative, and be a good example of Christian success and lifestyle following You to her family, friends, and to all around her. We would like to hear a testimony of how God healed lizzie's eyes and how that Jesus Christ becomes the middle focus of her life. Please reveal to her any habits in her life that she needs to stop that may be having an impact on her current healing as well as her spiritual relationship with You.
There is no one else that can do this better than You.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." and James 5:15 which also includes the word diseases, reiterating and expanding this promise in the for the new testament. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Lizzie, knowing that we serve a mighty God who hears our prayers. In Jesus name, we believe and praise God for other testimonies from others who have experienced miraculous physical healing and working this through lizzie's life.
