We join you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing and protection over Powers and their family. We stand against the schemes of the evil one, claiming Your promise that no weapon forged against us will prevail. Surround them with Your holy angels, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11 "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways" WEB).
We also pray for close, intimate relationships with You, Father. Draw each member of the family closer, that they may know You more deeply and walk in Your ways. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that they may be filled with Your Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13 "How much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?" WEB).
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and unfailing love. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who died to reconcile us to You.
Powers, remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places WEB). Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Keep praying and seeking His face, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
It is good that you mentioned In Jesus' Name at the end of your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (WEB 1 Tim. 2:5). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. "In Him (Jesus) was life; and the life was the light of men." (WEB John 1:4). Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: "...and none cometh unto the Father, but by me."(WEB John 14:6)
Powers let us know how your relationship with God is going and how you are doing in your walk with him.
