Wilann, we understand that you've been talking about God, but find it difficult to talk to Him. Let's remember what the WEB says in Hebrews 4:16, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We encourage you to approach God with confidence, just as a child would approach a loving parent.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ###. Lord, help ### to see You as a loving, approachable Father. Remove any barriers that hinder communication with You. Give ### the boldness and faith to come to You in prayer, knowing that You are always ready to listen and to help. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
Remember, ###, prayer is simply a conversation with God. It doesn't need to be formal or filled with fancy words. Just speak to Him from your heart. As it says in 1 John 5:14-15, WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It's through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Keep pursuing your relationship with God, ###. It's the most important relationship you'll ever have.
