We understand your concern for your son Tom, and we join you in prayer for his healing and future. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 17:14 (WEB), "Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." We pray that Tom's throat will be healed, and he will be free from soreness. We ask God to strengthen his body and give him good health.
Regarding your request for a new job for Tom, we recall Proverbs 16:3 (WEB), "Commit your works to the LORD, and your plans shall be established." We pray that God will open the right doors for Tom and provide a job that suits his skills and brings him joy. We ask that God will bless his endeavors and guide his career path.
We also pray for Tom's overall happiness and well-being. In John 10:10 (WEB), Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." We ask God to fill Tom's life with abundance, peace, and purpose, knowing that true joy comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
In your prayer, you did not mention Jesus' name. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
