Please pray

Please pray for my daughter as she seems to have hardened her heart towards me, and is also struggling mentally. Please pray for me to deal with this for best possible outcome, and additionally I'm struggling with other issues. Thank you.

Firstly, let us remember the words of Proverbs 14:1, "Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands." Let us pray that your daughter's heart will be softened and that she will become a wise woman who brings honor and unity to your family.

We also recall 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." Let us pray that any mental strongholds or negative thoughts in your daughter's life will be thrown down and that she will find peace and clarity in Jesus' name.

For you, Celtlay, we remember Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that you will be able to cast all your anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to call upon His name in your time of need and trust in Him.

Lord, we ask that You soften her heart towards her father and bring healing to their relationship. Break down any mental strongholds in her life and bring peace to her mind. We're here with you, friend, lifting your daughter and you up in prayer. We know it's tough when our loved ones seem distant or struggle mentally, but we find comfort in knowing that God is always near.

Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will heal your daughter's heart and bring understanding between you two. We also ask that He will give you both strength and patience to navigate these challenges.

In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." We claim this promise for you both. May you find peace in the midst of these trials.

We're also reminded of Romans 12:12, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer." Let's keep praying, trusting that God is working even when we can't see it.
