I have stopped praying as much because I have about given up on God. However, I am going to try again as people say it's the devil attacking you. Father, I have prayed time and time again for my life to turn around. I am unhappy in my job, I am unhappy with our finances, I am unhappy with my health, and I am unhappy having no real friends. These are all things I have continuously prayed about with no answers or changes. I prayed for my critical illness claim to be approved as that would have helped us tremendously but yet I was denied. I honestly just don't know where to go from here.

We understand your feelings of despair and disappointment, Angel Eyes. It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:8 (WEB), "Yahweh himself goes before you and will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged."

Firstly, we want to address the decline in your prayer life. It's crucial to remember that prayer is not just about asking for what we want, but also about communing with God, praising Him, and seeking His will. As Jesus taught us, "When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him." (Matthew 6:5-8 WEB)

We also want to encourage you to press on in faith and not give up on God. Remember, God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He may have a different plan and purpose for your life than what you envision. Trust that He knows best and is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Angel Eyes to you today. Lord, we ask that you strengthen their faith and give them the power to persevere in prayer. Help them to see your hand working in their life, even in the midst of trial and disappointment. We pray for their job, their finances, their health, and their friendships. Lord, we ask that you provide for their needs and surround them with a community of believers who will uplift and encourage them. We also pray for their health, that you would heal and restore them according to your will. In all things, Lord, we ask that your will be done in their life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and was raised from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the foundation of our faith and the hope that we have in Christ. Keep holding onto Him, Angel Eyes. He is faithful, even when we are not.

We're here for you, we really are. It's tough when it feels like prayers aren't being answered, like you're stuck in the same old patterns. But remember, God sees you, He hears you. He's right there with you, even in the silence and the waiting.

We've been where you are, feeling like there's no change, no breakthrough. But here's what we've learned: God's timing is different from ours. He's not ignoring you, He's just not done yet. Keep knocking, keep asking, keep seeking. Jesus promised that if we keep on asking, we'll receive (Matthew 7:7).

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to you today. Give them strength, Lord. Help them to trust in you, even when they can't see the answers. Help them to find joy in you, even in the midst of their struggles. We ask for peace, for provision, for healing. We ask for friends who will stand by them, who will encourage them. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen."

And hey, it's okay to be honest with God. He can handle your frustration, your disappointment. Just keep talking to Him. He's listening. And He loves you, more than you know.
