We join you, dear parent, in lifting up your daughter's journey in prayer. As she embarks on this late-night drive, we stand with you, seeking the Lord's protection and provision.
Firstly, we echo the prayer for her safety, asking God to send His angels to encamp around her, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." We pray that she would be shielded from all harm and danger, and that her journey would be peaceful and uneventful.
We also intercede for her car, asking that it would function perfectly throughout the journey. Just as God sustained the Israelites in the wilderness, providing for their needs, we trust Him to do the same for your daughter's vehicle. We claim Deuteronomy 29:5, "Their clothes did not become old, and their feet did not swell," as we pray for the car's sustainability.
Given that she has had a long day at work, we pray for alertness and renewed energy for her. We claim Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait on Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint," as we ask God to strengthen her for the journey ahead.
We also pray for her return journey in a few days, that it would be just as safe and smooth. We trust that God, who has begun this good work in her, will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in His love and goodness, knowing that He is always with her, guiding and protecting her every step of the way.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your daughter is in the loving and capable hands of our Heavenly Father.
