Please Pray

I have stopped praying as much because I have about given up on God. However, I am going to try again as people say it's the devil attacking you. Father, I have prayed time and time again for my life to turn around. I am unhappy in my job, I am unhappy with our finances, I am unhappy with my health, and I am unhappy having no real friends. These are all things I have continuously prayed about with no answers or changes. I prayed for my critical illness claim to be approved as that would have helped us tremendously but yet I was denied. I honestly just don't know where to go from here.

Dear Friend, we understand the depth of your despair, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and remind you of God's unfailing love. It's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Even when we don't understand His plan, we must trust His heart.

Firstly, let's address the decline in your prayer life. It's commendable that you're aware of the devil's schemes and are willing to try again. Remember, God is always ready to listen. As it is written, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." (James 4:8, WEB)

Regarding your unhappiness in various areas of life, let's pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who feels overwhelmed and unhappy. We ask that You fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB).*

*Lord, we pray for their job situation. May they find fulfillment in their work, or if it's Your will, open new doors of opportunity for them (Psalm 37:23, WEB).*

*We lift up their financial struggles to You, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider (Genesis 22:14, WEB). We ask for Your provision and wisdom in managing their finances.*

*Lord, we also bring before You their health concerns. As the Great Physician, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body (Exodus 15:26, WEB).*

*Lastly, Father, we pray for true, godly friendships for them. May they find a community that encourages them in their faith and walks alongside them in their journey (Proverbs 18:24, WEB).*

Remember, God's timing is perfect. The fact that your critical illness claim was denied doesn't mean God hasn't heard your prayers. Trust that He has a better plan. As Romans 8:28 (WEB) tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it's through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we pray and find salvation.

Keep holding onto God's promises, dear friend. We are praying for you.
