Please pray with me for my husband to have God’s guidance and strength. He deals with severe anxiety, which in turn has made him only see the negative in everything. And worries constantly about finances, even though everything is fine. Years ago we went through some tough times financially, and he continues to believe it’s going to happen again. Due to all of this, everything sets him off. Please pray he can see through the clouds, and find the positive. Any and all prayers greatly appreciated.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our anonymous friend. We ask that you pour out your guidance and strength upon their husband who is dealing with severe anxiety. Lord, we know that anxiety can cloud our vision and make it difficult to see the positive in every situation. We pray that you would remove the veil of negativity from his eyes and help him to see the goodness and blessings that surround him.

Father, we ask that you calm his anxious thoughts and replace them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him of your faithfulness in the past and reassure him that you are with him in the present and future. Help him to trust in your provision and let go of the constant worry about finances. Open his heart to receive your truth and let him know that you will never leave him nor forsake him.

Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in his mind and emotions. May your Holy Spirit bring comfort and bring a renewed sense of hope and joy into his life. Help him to cast all his cares upon you, knowing that you care for him.

We also pray for our anonymous friend, that you would give them strength and patience as they support their husband through this challenging time. Grant them wisdom to know how to encourage and uplift him. Surround them both with your love and grace, and may their marriage be strengthened through this trial.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect timing and know that you are working all things together for their good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
