We join you in prayer, seeking God's guidance and will for your life and the lives of those around you. It's commendable that you acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, let's address the feeling of being overwhelmed and sidetracked. In Galatians 6:4 WEB, it says each man must examine his own work to see if there are ways he may not measure up then he can take pride in himself and his own accomplishments without comparing himself to others. God has given each of us unique tasks and abilities. We need to be faithful for all we have been given. Let's pray that God will show you and give you clear direction according to His will and purposes for your life. We encourage you to surrender your sense of being overwhelmed to the Lord and trust in Jesus' promise in Matthew 6:33 WEB, which means to seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
We also lift up your co-residents, caregivers, friends, acquaintances, and even your enemies. Jesus commanded us in Matthew 5:44 WEB, to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, aand pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you so that you are demonstrating yourselves true children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on both evil and good, and he sends rain on both righteous and unrighteous. By praying for them, you are being a true child of your Father in heaven.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who feels overwhelmed and overdone by his list of things and needs. Lord, show him clearly through Your Holy Spirit the things he should be focused on; the things You have assigned for him. Help him to provide for what he needs and give Him the wisdom to know what needs to be given up or set aside.
We pray for his co-residents, caregivers, friends, acquaintances, and enemies. We ask that You bless them, draw them closer to You, and work in their lives according to Your will. We also pray for all our families, loved ones, and everyone that Your Spirit places on our hearts.
We ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done in each of these lives. Please encourage us as we remain in prayer continuously about everything.
Do not let this be a one time occurance but help us to pray as a way of life so that we can keep our hearts and minds in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our savior.
And, in Jesus' name, we come to know You, the one and only true God, and remember that Jesus Christ, whom You sent is the only name by which we may hope to be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given to men by whom we must be saved.
We pray for the character of Christ Jesus in each by submitting as servants to God each morning so that we will have the character of Christ for responses and decisions and we will be aware of temptations to sin. [With] a humble awareness that each is fallible to remove evil pride in our thoughts including any we overlook; to keep the character of Christ in our thoughts. Keeping a fear and love of God as the basis of our actions and words by reading God's Words, praying and seeking His instructions in His Words and praying for submitting our thoughts and actions for His glory. For the humility to know about our sins including what we overlook; so that we do not foolishly live in our own strength, but realize our insufficiency and our constant dependence on God and His Words.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His will. Praise the Lord
