We come before you, Lord, lifting up our dear brother/sister in Christ who has submitted this prayer request. We praise you and thank you, Jesus, for the blessing of being able to come to you in prayer.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We are so glad that this request is made in the precious and holy name of Jesus.
We lift up the physical, emotional, and financial needs of the one who has made this request. Father, you know the depths of their needs, and we trust that you will provide and comfort them according to your riches in glory. We remember your word in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for their elderly dog, Chica. Lord, you care for all your creatures, and we ask that you would comfort Chica and give wisdom and peace to her owner as they care for her.
We lift up the long list of names mentioned, as well as their loved ones, family members, friends, acquaintances, and even enemies. Lord, you know each one by name and you care for each one deeply. We ask that your will be done in all of their lives and that they would come to know you more intimately.
We also pray for those who have served alongside our brother/sister in the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard, and all those they have encountered in their education and workplaces. Lord, bless and protect them, and may they find salvation and peace in you.
Finally, we pray against any sin that may be hindering the one who has made this request. If there is any immorality or impurity, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We pray for conviction and repentance, that they would turn from sin and walk in righteousness. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you richly for your fervent and faithful prayers, dear brother/sister. Keep your faith and trust in the Lord, knowing that he hears and answers our prayers according to his good and perfect will. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:26 WEB, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we donโt know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which canโt be uttered." Trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding for you and all those you have prayed for.
