Dear friend, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, lifting up your adult children to our Heavenly Father. We understand that you are going through complicated situations, pain, and loss, and we want to assure you that God sees, knows, and cares.
Firstly, let us remember the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the midst of trials, God is working for the good of those who love Him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our dear sister and her adult children. You know the trials they are facing, the pain they are enduring, and the losses they have suffered. We ask, Lord, that You comfort them according to the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, 'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.'
Lord, we ask that You guide them, give them wisdom, and help them to make decisions that honor You. We pray that You would turn their situations around for their good and Your glory. We rebuke any spirit of despair, loss, or pain, and we ask that You fill them with Your love, joy, and peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in the darkest times. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you or your adult children have not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. He is the only way to true peace, joy, and eternal life.
Keep holding on to God's promises, dear sister. He is faithful, and He will see you through.
