Please pray very important

I helped 3 people out by lending them money. I told them I must have it on check day so I lent them my Hydro payment and cable. It is the first time that they didn't pay me back now I'm in a mess, setting me back a couple of months. I'm prayed all day. I like helping people, but I got to pray the Hydro in the morning. Please pray for me. I need it very much and I'm so sick of being broke all the time. Please help me. I put myself in a mess again by helping others. I thought I was doing the Lord's work by helping. Thank You.

It's important to consider whether the people you're lending to are trustworthy and if you can realistically afford to help them at this time. Proverbs 22:26-27 says, "Don't you be among those who strike hands, among those who are collateral for debts. If you don't have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"

Also, it is good to remember that we should pray in Jesus name because it is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. Acts 4:12 states "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!".
