Please pray to keep me from sinning?

Dear Lord,

This boy takes me for granted. He’s played games, and hurt me many times.

My flesh wants me to hurt him right back, and I’ve had angry thoughts — though as you already know it’s really just heartbreak. Please forgive me, Lord ♡

Instead of sinning I am praying for you to keep me focused on you, and to respond in a Christ-like way. Will you give me discernment and a kind heart please?

And if it isn’t too much to ask, please wake him up. Help him to appreciate me, and respond in love instead of hurting me?

I love, and thank you for taking time to hear my prayers. I pray that you bless all my brothers and sisters in Christ who pray for me, too ♡

Dear Lord,

We come before you on behalf of our anonymous brother or sister who is facing a difficult situation with someone who has taken them for granted and caused them pain. We acknowledge that it is natural for our flesh to desire revenge and harbor angry thoughts, but we ask for your forgiveness and guidance in responding in a Christlike manner.

Please grant discernment and a kind heart to our anonymous friend, that they may navigate this situation with wisdom and love. Help them to resist the temptation to sin and instead focus on you, seeking your guidance and strength.

We also lift up the person who has hurt our anonymous friend. Lord, we ask that you awaken their heart and help them to appreciate and value our friend. Soften their heart and lead them to respond in love instead of causing further harm.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your unconditional love and grace. We also pray for the blessings and protection of all our brothers and sisters in Christ who join us in prayer.

Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life.
