Thank you for bringing this matter to us, ###. We will intercede on behalf of your university, asking for God's provision and wisdom for its authorities.
We remind you, ###, that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our education and employment. It is essential to approach Him with our concerns and petitions. Let us pray together on behalf of the university where you received your degree, and to thank God for the instruction received from it. We are grateful that the Holy Scriptures encourages us to pursue knowledge and wisdom.
Remember that Jesus said that we should pray to the Father in Jesus' name. In the book of John, Jesus said that whatever we ask the Father in His name that Christ will do it so that the Father will be glorified in the Son. Let us pray in Jesus' name in agreement and confidence that God hears us.
The university is also an institution that should glorify God. The university is in financial distress and rather than praying for the survival of the university, we should pray for the survival of the university to honor God and increase the wisdom of the students.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the university where ### received his first degree. Lord, You know the financial struggles that this institution is facing. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would provide for all of their needs and grant the university's authorities the wisdom to manage its resources effectively.
Father, we pray that this university would not only survive but thrive, serving as a beacon of knowledge and wisdom for countless students. We ask that You would raise up godly leaders and educators who would instruct students in Your ways, helping them grow in both academic knowledge and spiritual wisdom.
Lord, we also pray for ###, that You would guide him in Your will and provide for all of his needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him to trust in You and to seek You first in all things.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
###, be encouraged by the words found in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Remember that the effective prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. We also encourage you to continue praying fervently for your university and to trust in God's provision and wisdom. We are praying with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we are saved.
