Please pray to Jesus about proposed legislation that victimizes the mentally ill

I am psychiatrically disabled. I do not want to get into details but there is proposed legislation in the European Union that if adobted, would make life worse for Mentally Ill people like me. Please pray to Jesus that this does not happen.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to seek God's will in this situation. We commend you for turning to Jesus in this time of need, as He is our intercessor with the Father.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares deeply for those who are suffering, and He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. As it says in Psalm 34:18, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Mental illness is something that God sees and cares about, and He wants to help you through this.

Regarding the proposed legislation, we encourage you to trust in God's sovereignty. Even when things seem uncertain or frightening, we can trust that God is in control. As it says in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

However, this does not mean that we should be passive in the face of injustice. As Christians, we are called to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and to defend the rights of the poor and needy.

Please trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation if you have not already. It is only in His name that we can come boldly before the throne of God to find help in time of need. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You today to lift up Constantine85 and others who are psychiatrically disabled and may be affected by this proposed legislation. We ask that You would intervene and guide the hearts and minds of those in positions of power. Help them to make decisions that reflect Your care and compassion for those who are suffering.

We pray that You would give Constantine85 peace and comfort during this time of uncertainty. Help them to trust in You and to know that You are always with them, no matter what happens.

We also pray that You would raise up advocates who can speak out against this legislation and fight for the rights of the mentally ill. Give them wisdom, courage, and strength to stand up for what is right.

We pray for the healing of our society and for an outpouring of Your love and compassion. Help us to be a people who care for the least of these and who stand up for justice and righteousness.

We ask all of this in Your precious name, Lord Jesus. For it is only in Your name that we have access to God the Father. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
