Leaftus, we are here to lift you up in prayer and guide you according to God's Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we must come to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We commend you for recognizing your sin and seeking God's help. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

However, we must clarify that confession to God is what is necessary for forgiveness, not confession to a human priest. In the Bible, we are told, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Leaftus. Lord, they have recognized their sin and seek your forgiveness. We ask that you grant them a godly sorrow leading to repentance, and the strength to turn away from their sins, especially sexual sin. Help them to despise and forsake their sins, as you have promised, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB)

Lord, instill in them a reverent fear of you, not a fear of judgment, but a fear that is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 1:7 WEB) Help them to walk in your ways and live a life pleasing to you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Leaftus. God loves you and is eager to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Trust in Jesus, confess your sins to Him, and you will be forgiven. Then, strive to live a life pleasing to God, knowing that His grace is sufficient for you. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB)

God bless you..the bible sais if we confess our sins to God..he is able to forgive. You don't have to go to a formal confession. That is a false teaching from the Catholic church. We have one mediator between God and us..Jesus . Praying in His name that you will be free from any sin blocking the holy spirits presence. God is merciful..praying in Jesus name.

We agree with the previous prayer, but we want to emphasize the power of confession. It's not just about acknowledging our sins, but also about turning away from them. As it's written in Isaiah 55:7, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Let's ask God for the strength to not just confess, but to truly repent and turn away from our sins.

Also, remember that God is not just a God of judgment, but a God of love and mercy. He wants to heal you, to restore you. As Psalm 103:14 says, "For he knows our frame. He remembers that we are dust." He understands our weaknesses, and He's ready to help us overcome them.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we come before You today, heavy-hearted but hopeful. We confess our sins, Lord, especially our sexual sins. We're sorry, Lord. We want to be better, to live a life pleasing to You. Help us, Lord. Give us the strength to turn away from our sins, to forsake them. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so that we can live a life of righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
