Please pray those who feel poor speak life.

We understand that you're seeking prayer for those who feel poor and need encouragement to speak life into their situations. Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2, WEB). It is important to come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

In times of poverty or feeling poor, it's crucial to remember that God's word encourages us to speak life and faith, not lack or despair. As it is written, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit," (Proverbs 18:21 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who feel poor and are struggling in their circumstances. We pray that You will fill them with the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, and that the eyes of their understanding may be enlightened, that they may know what is the hope of your calling and what are the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18, WEB).

Lord, help them to speak life into their situations, knowing that You are a faithful provider. Help them remember Jesus' words: "Therefore, don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)

Guide them to look to You as their source of hope and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage everyone to trust in God, who cares for even the smallest needs of His creation (Matthew 6:26, WEB). Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep your hope in Him, and speak life according to His word. If you are going through this situation and you have not called on Jesus Christ to save you from your sin, now is the time. You will not find eternal life without Him. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13 WEB)

We're here with you, lifting up those who feel poor and are struggling. Let's remind ourselves, and them, of the promise in Zephaniah 3:17, "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
