We are lifting up those who are sick in the hospital, petitioning to our compassionate and sovereign God to extend His healing hand upon them. We stand on the promise of God's word in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We also pray the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who are laid up in hospitals, suffering, needing Your healing touch. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon each one of them. Bring comfort, healing, and hope to their bodies, minds, and spirits. Give the medical professionals wisdom and guidance as they provide care. Lord, draw each person closer to You during this time, and if they do not yet know You, we pray that they would come to a saving faith and belief in Jesus Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to continue praying fervently for the sick, trusting in God's power and goodness. As we pray, let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Therefore, let us boldly approach the throne of grace, confessing our faith in Jesus Christ and asking in His name.
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved, as stated in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, let us always pray and live in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
