We are committed to interceding for those who are brokenhearted in your community, trusting that God hears our prayers and cares for the suffering. We read in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit," and in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up to you those who are brokenhearted in Anonymous's community. We ask that you comfort them, Lord, and draw near to them as you have promised. Heal their broken hearts, bind up their wounds, and save their crushed spirits. We pray that they would experience your presence, your love, and your healing power in their lives.
We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, for it is in His name that we have access to you, God. We acknowledge that there is no other name by which we can be saved, and we proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord.
"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB
We also pray that they would turn to you in their time of need and call upon your name, Lord Jesus. We ask that you would provide for their needs according to your riches in glory, and that they would find hope and healing in you.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Anonymous, that God cares for the brokenhearted and that he hears our prayers. Continue to intercede for your community, and trust that God is at work, bringing healing and hope to those in need but also that it is our responsibility as Christians to minister and share Jesus with those around us.
