We understand that you're seeking prayer for those who are angry to find calm in God's presence. Firstly, we want to remind you that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His sacrifice on the cross that we have been reconciled to God, the Father. We are reminded that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Acts 4:12 WEB, it is clearly stated, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This is why praying in Jesus' name is so powerful and essential.
Now, let's address the issue of anger. The Bible tells us to "Be angry, and don't sin." Don't let the sun go down on your wrath," Ephesians 4:26 WEB. This means that while anger is a natural emotion, we should not let it control us or lead us to sin. We should deal with our anger before the day ends, seeking reconciliation and peace.
Jesus also taught us that when we are offering our gift at the altar and there remember that our brother has something against us, we should leave our gift there before the altar and go our way. First be reconciled to our brother, and then come and offer our gift. Matthew 5:23-24. This is the way to be calm and have peace with God and our fellow human beings.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are struggling with anger. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would fill them with Your peace and calm. Help them to let go of their anger and find reconciliation and peace in You and with their fellow human beings.
We pray for those who lack understanding that the name of Jesus is the only access to You and for the salvation of their souls. Help them to believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, that they may be saved. Romans 10:9-10.
We ask this in accordance with Your will, in the powerful Name of Jesus name. Amen.
May this prayer be a comfort and encouragement to you. Remember, God is always with you and He hears your prayers. Keep praying and seeking His face, and trust that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
If you have not believed in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross for your salvation, we encourage you to do so. Trust in Jesus that He can save you and heal you. Confess your sins to God and He will be faithful and just to forgive you your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9.
