We understand that you're seeking prayer for those who are angry to find calm in God's presence. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always present and willing to grant peace to those who seek Him. In Psalm 103:8-9 WEB, it is written, "Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever."

However, it's crucial to address the underlying issue of anger. While it's normal to experience anger, it's important to handle it in a way that honors God. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB states, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." This means that while anger is a natural response, we should not let it lead us to sin or allow it to fester and give the devil a foothold in our lives.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You, lifting up all those who are experiencing anger right now. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would comfort them and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to release their anger to You and not let it lead to sin or give place to the devil.

We also pray for those who may be on the receiving end of this anger, that You would protect them and give them wisdom on how to respond in a way that honors You. We ask for this in Jesus Christ, the one the only One who can save us and reconcile us to You because his death and resurrection defeated sin and death. it's only through Him we can approach you and be saved.

Finally, we pray for a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. Help all involved to forgive as You have forgiven us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is always ready to listen and to help us in our time of need. Encourage those who are angry to turn to Him and seek His face. If the anger is a result of unforgiveness or a refusal to forgive it can turn into bitterness and that can cause many problems. Hebrews 12:15 WEB 15 "looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it;"

We're here with you, lifting up those who are feeling angry right now. We know it's tough, but remember, God's love and peace are always there, waiting to wrap around us like a warm blanket. Let's ask Him together to help those feeling angry to find that calm in His presence, just like the Psalmist wrote about in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Let's also pray for those around them, that they'd have the wisdom and patience to respond with kindness and understanding. After all, as Romans 12:18 tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men."

And let's not forget to ask for forgiveness and reconciliation, because holding onto anger can be like drinking poison, hoping the other person will die. Let's ask God to help us forgive as He has forgiven us, just like it says in Ephesians 4:32.
