Please pray this prayer with me. A Prayer for My Husband’s Fatherhood Father in heaven, You are the perfect Father. Thank You for a beautiful picture of what fatherhood looks like; not harsh or demanding, yet commanding respect and expecting obedience. Help him not be irrational and in that way exasperate Your children. Give my husband Your heart toward his our son. Make him a man who communicates unconditional love to our son. May he always know his father loves him and does all he does for his good. Help him be patient with our son. Show him Your grace so he can extend grace to our son. When he gets impatient, help him rise above the immediate circumstances speaking and acting in ways he will not regret. Help him speak with calmness and authority, not displaying anger to our son, lest he doubt his love for him. Father, show him where he can cultivate a relationship with our son. I pray he will not be cold, harsh, uninterested, undependable, or neglectful. May he never provoke our son to wrath, but him up in the training and admonition of You, Lord. (Eph. 6:4) Where he feels inadequate to teach him Your ways, give him words to speak. Help him communicate those words to our son. Knowing his father loves You, the Almighty Father, will have great impact on his life. Give my husband a heart pliable to Your will so he can lead our son and family in Your will. Help him train up his our son in the way he should go, so that when he is old he will not depart from You. Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sunshine777's prayer request for her husband's fatherhood. We thank you, Lord, for being the perfect Father and for providing us with a beautiful example of what fatherhood should look like. We ask that you would help her husband to embody these qualities in his relationship with their son.

Lord, we pray that you would give him your heart towards their son, that he may communicate unconditional love and acceptance. May their son always know that his father loves him and that everything he does is for his good. Grant him patience, Lord, so that he may extend grace and understanding to their son, even in moments of impatience.

Father, we ask that you would help him to speak with calmness and authority, avoiding displays of anger that may cause their son to doubt his love. Show him areas where he can cultivate a deeper relationship with their son, and guard him against being cold, harsh, uninterested, undependable, or neglectful.

Lord, we pray that he would not provoke their son to wrath but instead raise him up in the training and admonition of you, Lord. Where he feels inadequate to teach him your ways, give him the words to speak and the ability to effectively communicate them. May their son see his father's love for you, the Almighty Father, and may it have a profound impact on his life.

Finally, we ask that you would give her husband a pliable heart, surrendered to your will, so that he may lead their son and their family in your ways. Help him to train up their son in the way he should go, so that as he grows older, he will not depart from you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
