We are glad to join you in praying for your neighbors. It's important to remember that God cares for all people and wants the best for them. As Christians, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves and intercede for them in prayer.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our neighbors. We ask that Your will be done in their lives and that You would work all things together for their good, according to Your purpose. If they do not know You personally Lord, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself and reveal Your love to them. We ask they would seek Your face, Your grace, and Your mercy. We pray that You would provide for their needs, heal their hearts, and let Your Holy Ghost minister to them. Help them to seek peace with their neighbors, family, and friends. Let them seek and find godly spouses according to your will.
We also pray for their health, finances, relationships and families. We pray that whatever problems they may face, Your grace would be sufficient for them. Let there be a hedge of protection around them and their neighbors from evil, sickness, and disease.
We rebuke any evil that may be affecting them or coming against them in Jesus' name.
We ask that You would bless them and give them grace to walk in obedience to You, and that Your light would shine through them into their community and to others. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
It's wonderful that you are interceding for your neighbors. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:37-39 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Also, remember the parable of the Good Samaritan, where Jesus showed that our neighbor is anyone in need, regardless of their background or beliefs and it includes those that live next door to us or in the same neighborhood.
Continue to be a light and salt to your neighbors, showing them the love of Christ in practical ways. As God gives you opportunity, share the gospel with them, that they too may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As the scripture says in Acts 4:10-12 WEB:
"be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let unbelievers know this truth in love and with compassion.
