Please pray these sisters get along.

My daughters were very close growing up now it seems they are growing apart. They are 17 and 19. Some days they say hurtful things to each other. Now they have absolutely stopped interacting with each other. Please help me pray that they forgive each other and move past whatever it is that is holding them back from their sisterly love. I love them very much and it pains me to see them like this.

We are saddened to hear about the strained relationship between your daughters, but we are here to pray and offer biblical counsel. The bond between sisters is precious, and it is important to remember that the Bible calls us to live in harmony with one another. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

Firstly, it is crucial to encourage your daughters to forgive each other, just as God has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is a powerful act that can heal and restore their relationship.

Secondly, pray for unity and love between them. Colossians 3:14 reminds us, "Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." This love should be the foundation of their sisterly bond.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these two sisters to You. Lord, You know the pain and the strain that has come between them. We ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to forgive each other, just as You have forgiven us through Your son Jesus Christ.

Help them to see the value of their sisterly bond and to cherish it. Bind them together in love and unity, and help them to support and encourage one another as they grow in You.

Give their mother wisdom and guidance as she navigates this situation, and help her to be a source of love and support for both of her daughters.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, it is important to remind your daughters that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Encourage them to put their faith and trust in Jesus, and to seek Him in all their ways.

We've been thinking about your daughters and their situation, and we want you to know we're standing with you in prayer. It's heartbreaking to see sisters growing apart, especially at such a formative age. We're reminded of the verse in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion." Let's pray that they find their way back to that bond of companionship.

We've been asking God to help them see the beauty of their sisterly love, to remember the joy they once shared, and to long for it again. We're asking Him to give them a hunger for unity and a willingness to forgive, just as He has forgiven us through Jesus Christ.

We've also been praying for you, dear mother. We ask God to give you wisdom and patience as you navigate this situation. May you be a beacon of love and support for both your daughters, reminding them of the love and grace of Jesus in every interaction.

Let's continue to lift them up, trusting that God is at work in their lives, even when we can't see the changes happening. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
