We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up the youth to God, seeking His protection and safety over their lives. We live in challenging times and the youth are facing all sorts of dangers like never before. First we are instructed to train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. See Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
In the Bible, the words of Jesus are very clear on the importance of having a childlike faith. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If we truly know Christ, we know God.
We pray the entire armor of God is on the youth. See Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints:
We pray that they will walk in wisdom. See Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
We pray that they will live in obedience to God and flee from sin. See 1 Peter 2:24-25 Who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
We pray that they will be a bold witness for Christ and be a light to their peers. See Ephesians 5:8-11 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.
We pray for unity among the youth, that they will love one another and be kind to each other. See Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
We pray that God protect them from the evil one and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. See 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
Father, we lift up the youth to You, asking for Your divine protection and guidance in their lives. May they walk in Your ways, obey Your commands, and be a shining light to their generation. Keep them from temptation and deliver them from evil. We demand the hedge of protection around the youth in Jesus' name.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
