Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is struggling with anxiety and depression. We ask that you would bring peace and comfort to their heart and mind. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to you. We pray that as they cast their cares upon you, you would grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also lift up the request for Mark to come back and move in to help with the children. We ask for your guidance and provision in this situation. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will give generously without finding fault. We pray that you would grant wisdom and discernment to our anonymous friend as they navigate this situation, and that you would open doors for Mark to return and provide the support needed for the children.
We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that you hear our prayers according to your will. We thank you in advance for the answers to these requests, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who cares for each and every one of us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
