Yodunir, we are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your parents and the emotional struggle you're facing. Please know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Firstly, we want to address the term "soul partner." As believers, we are encouraged to seek Godly spouses rather than "soul partners." The Bible teaches that a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh (Genesis 2:24, WEB). This is the biblical foundation for marriage, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
We also want to remind you that it's important to rely on God for comfort and companionship, even as you desire a loving spouse. Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God can fill the void you're feeling and provide the love and comfort you need in this season.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Yodunir. Lord, they are going through a challenging time, mourning the loss of their parents and feeling the weight of loneliness. We ask that You comfort them, draw near to them, and fill them with Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
We also pray that You will guide Yodunir to a Godly spouse according to Your will and timing. Help them to trust in You and seek You first, knowing that all other things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Yodunir, remember that God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will provide for all your needs, including a loving, Godly companion when the time is right.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and heart. He is the only way to salvation and a relationship with God the Father.
