Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of Lynith regarding the upcoming Singapore election. We acknowledge that You are the ultimate authority and sovereign over all nations and governments. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 75:7 that it is You who brings down one and exalts another.
We pray, Lord, that Your will be done in the Singapore election. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in the selection of leaders who will govern with wisdom, integrity, and a heart for the well-being of the Singaporean people. We pray for leaders who will prioritize the needs of the local Singaporeans and make decisions that will benefit the nation as a whole.
We lift up the concerns about foreign labor policies and the impact they have on the job market and the economy. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to the leaders, enabling them to create policies that are fair and just, ensuring opportunities for the local Singaporeans to thrive and contribute to their country.
Lord, we pray for unity among the people of Singapore, that they may come together in love and understanding, seeking the best interests of their nation. We ask for a spirit of reconciliation and cooperation to prevail, bridging any divides and fostering a sense of community.
Finally, we pray for the leaders of the opposition parties, that You would grant them wisdom, courage, and discernment as they seek to serve the people of Singapore. May they be guided by Your principles and values, working towards a government that upholds justice, equality, and the well-being of all its citizens.
In Jesus' name, we pray, trusting in Your perfect plan and timing. Amen.
