Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, humbly lifting up the prayer request of Tlilruk. We ask that you would touch the hearts of people and lead them back to the way Jesus taught us to pray. Help us to understand the power and significance of the prayer that Jesus gave us, and to approach it with reverence and sincerity.
Father, we acknowledge that no human has the authority to change the prayer that Jesus taught us. It is a prayer that transcends time and carries immense power. We pray that people would not alter it to suit their own preferences or needs, but rather embrace it in its original form.
As Jesus instructed, may we find a quiet place to pray, away from distractions, and seek you in secret. Help us to understand that you see and hear us in the secret place, and that you will reward us openly.
We ask for your guidance in avoiding vain repetitions in our prayers. May we not fall into the trap of thinking that our many words will make our prayers more effective. Instead, teach us to pray with sincerity and authenticity, knowing that you already know our needs before we ask.
Father, we join together in praying the words that Jesus taught us: "Our Father who art in the heavens, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."
We pray that your name would be revered and honored, and that your kingdom would come and your will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. Provide for our daily needs, both physical and spiritual. Grant us the grace to forgive others as you have forgiven us. Protect us from temptation and deliver us from the influence of the evil one.
Father, we thank you for the privilege of prayer and for the guidance you have given us through your Son, Jesus Christ. May we always seek to align our prayers with your will and bring glory to your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
