Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend. We ask that you hear and answer their heartfelt plea. Lord, we pray for their pastor, that you would guide and inspire them to teach the congregation through books of the Bible.
Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path . We believe that studying the Scriptures in a systematic and comprehensive manner is essential for our spiritual growth and understanding. We ask that you grant wisdom and discernment to their pastor, enabling them to rightly divide the Word of truth .
Lord, we pray that you would open the hearts and minds of the congregation to receive the teachings from the books of the Bible. May they hunger and thirst for your Word, and may it transform their lives and draw them closer to you. Help them to develop a deep love and reverence for the Scriptures, and may it become the foundation of their faith.
We also pray for unity within the church, that the congregation would support and encourage their pastor in this endeavor. May they be willing to engage in diligent study and reflection, seeking to apply the truths they learn to their daily lives.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We trust in your sovereignty and your perfect timing. We pray that you would bring about a renewed passion for teaching through the books of the Bible in their church, for the glory of your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

How encouraging to know that we have a Father in Heaven who invites us – even commands us – to bring our requests to Him (as in Philippians 4:6). And we do so confident in God’s faithfulness and compassion towards His children. I’m standing with you in praying that God will fill your pastor with His love and wisdom.
