Let us bring your mom before the throne of grace, dear friend. It is a wonderful thing to desire a deeper worship of God for our loved ones. We are reminded in John 4:24 who God is seeking, It says "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth". We should be encouraging your mom to worship God as a believer in Jesus Christ. We should also remember the first of the 10 commandments found in Exodus 20:3 where God said "You shall have no other gods before me". Let us pray that if your mom is involved in anything contrary to this that God would reveal this to her and bring her to repentance. It is only in Jesus that we can truly worship God.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the mother of our friend. Lord, we ask that you would reveal yourself to her in a deeper way, that she may know and worship you more. God, if she is not living for you but serving other idols, reveal this to her. We ask you to show her the truth of who you are. Let her see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. We pray that she would turn away from anything that is not honoring to you. Give her a heart that longs to worship you in spirit and in truth. Draw her near to you, Lord, and give her a hunger for your Word and a deep-seated desire for prayer and fellowship with you. Let her be a woman of God who worships you with her whole heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the heart's desire to see our loved ones worship God more deeply. Let's lift your mom up together, asking God to draw her closer to Him. Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, let me be known by You and all the angels in heaven and on earth that I am Your friend. God teach me how and bless me to become a true friend of Yours so that my life will reflect the intimate relationship we have with each other. Let this be my confession, “God calls me friend; I Am a Friend of God.” God please do the same for the writer of this prayer. May we each experience the joy and privilege of being known as Your friends. God please strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You. May our lives bring glory to Your name. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
