We understand your desire for respite from your enemies, and we stand with you in prayer. However, we must align our requests with God's will and His word. The Bible doesn't teach us to pray that our enemies forget us, but rather to love them and pray for their well-being. As Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister/brother who is feeling oppressed by her/his enemies. Instead of asking for them to forget her/him, we ask for Your love to fill their hearts. Change their hearts, Lord, and let them be drawn to You. Give our sister/brother the strength to love and forgive, just as You have loved and forgiven us. Help her/him to see her/his enemies through Your eyes, and to be a light that draws them to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to trust in God's protection and provision. Remember, "Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome" (Nehemiah 4:14 WEB). Also, ensure you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB).
