We are with you in spirit, dear friend, and we lift up your marriage to our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray for healing, restoration, and a deepening of love between you and your husband. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB): "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it ... So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, pleading for this marriage. We ask that You soften your husband's heart, Lord, and reveal to him the depth of love that You have for Your church, that he may love his wife in the same way. We pray for healing from past hurts and the strength to overcome any obstacles in their path. We rebuke any spirit of division or discord that may be at work, and we claim the promise of Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We encourage you, dear sister, to remain steadfast in your faith and your love for your husband. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 (WEB): "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving. Trust that God is working in your husband's heart and in your marriage.
In all things, we pray for God's will to be done. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
